How do you draw in perspective? That is what you are going to learn in the next few weeks!
Perspective: the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance
AND the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away
AND the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
What are we going to learn?
how to draw 1 point perspective
what 1/2/3 point perspective is and how to draw it
apply the knowledge of the 1 point perspective to your drawing assignment
understand how 1 point perspective changes the way furniture looks
how light causes shadows
In your groups you will research your point of perspective. Next lesson you will teach your classmates about the perspective and how to draw this perspective
We will need 6 groups.
2 groups will be representing the same perspective for the battle.
1 point perspective
2 point perspective
3 point perspective
The winners will be named point of perspectives king and queens And will win a roll of cookies.
Explain what your perspective is and how can you recognise it (look up youtube video’s?)
Show your classmates how to draw your perspective (use the whiteboard) So you’re going to draw it live
Everybody has to be included in the presentation
You will use proper and correct English
Around 5minutes
You are going to draw your room or a fantasy room in 1 point perspective.
You have drawn at least 3 pieces of furniture
Your perspective is correct
You have added shadows (under furniture or where furniture overlaps)
The whole paper has been used & coloured in
Drawing has been coloured in neatly
Furniture looks realistic because of its 3d
