Hands can be difficult to draw! That is why we are going to practice drawing hands and learn how to use different kind of shadow techniques.
What are we going to learn?
Learn the names of all the parts of a hand
Practise drawing what you see in front of you. Only what you see, not what you think it looks like.
Learn the names of 4 different techniques to make shading.
Learn to recognise where the light is coming from.
Learn to use different types of shadows.
Using your creativity to come up with a surrealistic background.

1.Fold an A4 paper in half.
2.On each half you will draw a realistic drawing of your own hand set in a certain pose.
3.You will use a different shading technique for each hand

Come up with a Surrealistic* way for a hand to come out of something/or do something.
Criteria
The whole paper has been filled in and coloured in!
Drawing is coloured in with pencils
Used 1 or 2 type of shading
Hand looks realistic and you can see details and shadows
No inproper** hand poses
*not seeming real; very unusual or impossible
